We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers / Health Care Assistants to support elderly clients and individuals with disabilities in residential care facilities and home-care settings across Perth, Australia.
The ideal candidate will provide person-centred care, emotional support, and assistance with daily living activities while maintaining the highest standards of dignity and respect.

Duties:

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support with mobility, including wheelchair assistance, transfers, and safe walking
• Provide meal preparation, feeding assistance, and monitoring dietary needs
• Administer or assist with medications under supervision
• Perform basic health monitoring (temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Maintain cleanliness of the client room, bedding, and personal hygiene
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage social engagement
• Observe and report any changes in health or behaviour to supervisors
• Follow all care plans, facility protocols, and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain accurate documentation and shift reports
• Assist in recreational and therapeutic activities for clients

What skills are needed:

• Previous experience as a Caregiver / HCA / Support Worker is preferred
• Formal training in Aged Care, Nursing Assistance, Healthcare, or similar qualification is an advantage
• Strong understanding of aged care practices and patient safety
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks like lifting and mobility support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards elderly and vulnerable individuals
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Basic knowledge of infection control and hygiene protocols
• Good English-speaking skills
• Willingness to work rotational shifts (morning/evening/night)

What is the package?

• Salary 60,000 to 70,000 AUD per year
